I am so excited to be teaching another class with the Influence Network this month! In January I taught a class about creatively funding adoption. It was a little scary and the first few minutes of the class felt awkward as I sat in my living room talking to a computer screen. But in no time at all the sweet community of class attendees were chatting away and offering encouraging feedback in the chat section of the classroom and I no longer felt like I was talking to the air. It ended up being a really fun hour and when it was over I was really glad I stepped out of my comfort zone to do something new. So when Jessi asked if I would teach a class for mamas of special needs children I jumped at the opportunity!
I’m a little nervous again but I am praying that God will give me just the right words to share. Words that will bring encouragement, understanding, affirmation, and even hope. I’ve not been on this journey long, but I do feel that God has taught me some very special lessons along the way. I’m looking forward to sharing them — will you join me?
The class is this Monday – March 25th at 9pm EST. You do not have to be a member of the Influence Network to attend the class. The class is $10 and you will receive a link to the online classroom about an hour before the start. If you cannot attend at that specific time don’t worry! Sign up anyway and as soon as the class ends you’ll receive an email with a link to the full video of the class including the chat and the Q&A time to watch at your convenience.
